Khmer Ceramics workshop:
You make ceramic; using Khmer Traditional technique, by hand. You are guided by a potter usual to Khmer Traditional technique; you can even make Khmer traditional pots or let play your creativity. During the drying of your artifacts, we propose you a visit of our Khmer Ceramics Centre, guided by your teacher. We deliver your artifact, fired and glazed at your hotel-guesthouse in Siem Reap through within 24 hours.
Potter wheel workshop:
You make one ceramic artifact; on the potter wheel to feel potters sensations; using Khmer Traditional technique. You are guided by a potter usual to Khmer Traditional technique; you can even make Khmer traditional pots or let play your creativity. After 30 minutes using the potter wheel, we propose you a visit of our Khmer Ceramics Centre, guided by your teacher. We deliver your artifact, fired and glazed to your hotel-guesthouse in Siem Reap within 24 hours.
Khmer Raku workshop:
You make one ceramic artifact; using Khmer Traditional technique, by hand. You are guided by a potter usual to Khmer Traditional technique; you can even make Khmer traditional pots or let play your creativity. During the drying of your artifacts, we propose you a visit of our Khmer Ceramics Centre, guided by your teacher. During the last hour, we glaze pots and fire it at 1000ºC using Raku technique; We deliver your artifact, fired and glazed to your hotel-guesthouse in Siem Reap within 24 hours.
No reservation needed; possibility to handle larger group with 10 days reservation.
150$ per person, teacher, firing and all raw material. If you want to send your works, parcel fee are paid by you.
6 hours (3 hours 2 times); extra hours can by make on request, please specify when you make reservation.
We develop with you a special program to bind your team; clay is an extraordinarily tactile, honest and alluring medium; an ideal vehicle through which to explore, express and discover ones creative inner world, an excellent tool for exploring fears, attitudes, thoughts and feelings; it requires one to be focused, patient, decisive, delicate and fearless. We teach how to gain these attributes and many take the learning and apply it to not only their pottery work but also to their everyday lives. Complete ceramics processing including drying and firing can’t be completed by individual, engaging Social responsibility of attendees. The use of clay encourages self-discovery and adds to sensory stimulation. It can be an outlet for frustration and improves motor skills. You can tell a lot about people by the way they use their hands and how they explore new limits and experience success or failure.
